DAY 60 of #circuitbreaker: The world is constantly changing and there every season has it’s ups and downs. Surfers are great role models when it comes to how to live life. A surfer knows that a wave will never change. So can either ADAPT and ride the wave to move forward or resist and fall.
Today marks the day of 2 months in home quarantine. We’re soon entering a season where dining out will be possible again and shops will re-open and we will shift more towards a “new normal”.
So why don’t we take this opportunity to reflect:
Did yew take that risk you always wanted to? Did you read that book you finally got the chance to read? Did you learn something new? Did you challenge yourself to TRY something new? Did you reconnect to a good friend from years ago? Did you learn something new about your family, your friends and yourself?
According to Robin Sharma it takes 66 days to build a habit. So who did you decide and CHOOSE to become during these times? Even if you couldn’t or didn’t necessarily take action at first, who are you continuously putting conscious effort into becoming, even when there is so much that is currently out of our control.
The past 60 days have been an adventure for me. I finally got to do that 66 day online course I wanted to, read a books that transformed my life (if yew need some book recommendations, hit me up, I’d love to share), tried a dance improv class, taught my first online class, started a new weekly series IG Live series with a beautiful sister, created a couple Youtube videos, did a challenge and connected to many beautiful friends and loved ones, all of them who I am so grateful to have in my life, especially the support and strength we gave each other during these times.
Now the question is to yew, who did you become during this season of life? 🦋
Are you riding the wave, or resisting it? 🌊
